Nutritional
Geonomics

Nutritional geonomics is a relatively new field working toward developing an understanding of how the whole body responds to a food via systems biology, as well as single gene/single food compound relationships.

Genetics is an important piece of every individual health puzzle. For example, obesity is one of the most

widely studied topics in nutritional genomics. Studies are now showing, due to genetic variations among individuals, each person could responds to diet differently. By exploring the interaction between dietary patterns and genetic factors, the field aims to suggest dietary changes that could prevent or reduce obesity.

This is an ever expanding, exciting field that will only continue to grow and shed light on personalizing your nutrition and lifestyle.
